300The exterior or façade of a building is often called the “skin.” That being said, the mechanicals are the heart and soul of any building and need the most attention. SECODA will meet with you and your engineer to check plans and specifications from the design document (DD) phase to the construction document (CD) phase to make sure that your plans are constructible within your budget. We offer value engineering possibilities for your consideration and show areas that need more information to assure quality bidding and, ultimately, quality construction results.

We work diligently with your construction manager and their teams to make sure that your drawings are properly coordinated among all the mechanical trades, and will audit for compliance with architectural, structural, and design documents.

One of the most complicated and critical elements of any project is getting through the maze of DOB and FD requirements for TCO (Temporary Certificate of Occupancy), and ultimately for CO (Certificate of Occupancy). We have guided multiple projects to completion, and have worked with many of the top expediting companies, and third-party inspection agencies in New York and Philadelphia, and are very familiar with the process and pitfalls.
300The greatest success of any project, large or small, is usually driven by design and construction document quality. SECODA will review your project design and construction documents at each phase to check and see if value engineering is necessary to avoid needless costs.

Your architect and design team play a pivotal role in your project, and we will work closely with them to make sure that their vision and plans are constructible within your pro forma and budgets.
